So maybe you won’t mind that this week’s episode turned out a bit longer and ramblier than normal, because as it turns out, Derek pretty much discovered fandom (at least the kind of fandom we talk about here, which is active and transformative) while preparing to talk about the canon ship of Edward Elric and Winry Rockbell from Full Metal Alchemist.
